Savoie. Amédée VII, 1383-1391. Florin d'or non daté, Avigliana (Veillane). Ecu de Savoie incliné, surmonté d'un heaume à cimier / Saint Jean Baptiste debout de face. 2,98g. Grading/Status: Une monnaie exceptionnelle, à l'état de frappe. Rarissime. An exceptional coin, virtually as struck. Of the highest rarity. NGC MS63.

Notes
La première monnaie d'or de la Savoie est le florin émis par Amédée VI (1343-1383). Son iconographie reprenait exactement celle du prototype florentin. Amédée VII alla plus loin en remplaçant le lis florentin par ses armoiries. Cette modification marque un tournant essentiel dans la numismatique du compté - puis duché - de Savoie.
