Description

Calabre - Tarente. Nomos vers 440-425 av. J.-C. 8,22g. Phalantos tenant dans la main droite un aphlaston et dans la main gauche un bouclier rond chevauchant un dauphin à gauche; au-dessous, un thon / Taras assis à gauche tenant avec la main droite une quenouille avec lequel il taquine un chat qui grimpe à sa jambe droite. Vlasto 234 (mêmes coins); Vlasto TO 48; FB 256 a (cet exemplaire).
Une représentation d’une grâce infinie. Légèrement décentrée, sinon très belle.
Exemplaire provenant de la trouvaille «Oikistes» IGCH 1900 et de la collection R. Käppeli 66 (Kunstmuseum Luzern, Sammlung Robert Käppeli, Luzern 11-27 Oktober 1963).
