Nicolas I, 1825-1855. Médaille en argent commémorant la paix avec la Turquie en 1829, par H. Gube. Buste lauré du Tsar à droite / Officier russe vêtu à l'ancienne, tendant un rameau d'olivier à un Turc. Vue de Constantinople à l'arrière-plan. Inscription et date sur deux lignes à l'exergue. 38,4mm. 41,59g. Diakov 487.1. - Collection Athanasios Ghertsos, Suisse.

Grading/Status: Très bel exemplaire. Almost extremely fine.

Le conflit entre la Russie et l'Empire ottoman et la signature du Traité d'Andrinople en 1829 contribuèrent à la création de l'Etat grec.
