Ferdinand III, 1637-1657. 10 Ducats 1648, Kremnitz. Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé, à droite, dans une couronne de laurier. Au-dessus, une tête d'angelot / Soleil anthropomorphe entouré d'une double légende circulaire. Tranche lisse. 34,79g. Fr. -; Müseler 71-2 (cet exemplaire); Voglhuber 211 var. (argent).

Anmerkungen
Une monnaie unique et de la plus grande importance historique. Selon Müseler, ce multiple frappé par Hans Guett, était destiné à être offert à l’empereur lors de sa visite à Schemnitz. Le revers fait allusion au retour de la prospérité suite à la fin de la guerre de Trente Ans. La légende peut se traduire comme suit : « Sous une bonne étoile il y a un nouveau destin. La Hongrie vous offre, Ferdinand, le fruit de vos mines ». Ces mines étaient exploitées depuis le onzième siècle. En 1735, une académie liée à l’exploitation minière sera fondée à Schemnitz et deviendra la plus ancienne école technique du monde. Mining of the Ferdinandsgrube in Schemnitz.
